My BACKGROUND

LEGAL EXPERIENCE

With more than 40 years of legal experience, I have devoted my career to handling complex employment, civil rights, and commercial litigation throughout Nevada. I earned my Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law, where I graduated Valedictorian and was a finalist in the Linden Cup Moot Court Competition. I received my Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.

My connection to Nevada runs generations deep, with a family history rooted in public service, journalism, law, and civic leadership. My grandfather, Denver Sylvester Dickerson, served as Governor of Nevada. My father, Denver Dickerson, was a respected Nevada newspaper publisher and public servant: he served as a campaign manager and executive staff member for U.S. Senators Alan Bible and Howard Cannon, and went on to become Governor of Guam. My uncle, George Dickerson, served as Clark County District Attorney and later practiced as a family law litigator. My uncle Harvey Dickerson served as three-term Nevada Attorney General.

I have represented individuals, professionals, executives, and businesses in high-stakes disputes at both the trial and appellate levels. Before establishing my own practice, I served as Senior Law Clerk to United States District Judge Bruce R. Thompson and practiced with respected Nevada litigation firms, building the courtroom experience that continues to define my multi-decade private practice today.
